Race to the Prize

You get the drill. This is actually a round robin piece written with a college friend and her brother. We decided to write different perspective on one basic plot. Confusing, I know.

The race is on to retrieve an ancient artifact said to grant its holder the power to right the wrongs of the world. But when they get there will the artifact be everything they had hoped for, or will it be something else all together?
